Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a motivated Low Voltage Install Helper to assist technicians with the installation of commercial access control, security, and low-voltage systems.

This is an excellent entry‑level opportunity for someone with basic electrical, construction, cabling, or low‑voltage experience who wants to develop skills and build a career in the access control and security industry.

You will work on commercial sites, follow project drawings, and travel to customer locations as required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of construction, electrical, cabling, telecommunications, or low-voltage experience preferred.
• Ability to read basic plans, diagrams, and installation instructions.
• Comfortable working from ladders and lifts; able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Technicians with commercial low-voltage installations.
• Pull, route, terminate, label, and test low-voltage cabling.
• Assist with installation of access control systems, card readers, keypads, electric strikes, maglocks, request-to-exit devices, and door hardware.
• Assist with CCTV/IP cameras, intercoms, gate access systems, barrier arms, and related security equipment.
• Install conduit, raceway, junction boxes, cable supports, and mounting hardware.
• Assist with mounting panels, power supplies, cameras, readers, and other field devices.
• Use basic hand and power tools safely.
• Travel to commercial customer locations and project sites as required.
