Job summary

Big-D Mission Critical in Reno, NV seeks a Low Voltage & Controls Superintendent to oversee field execution on hyperscale data centers and other high-performance projects. You will coordinate wiring, controls, and integration from rough-in through startup and turnover, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time handover.

You will lead cross-functional teams, align plans with design intent, and mentor junior staff while maintaining accurate reports, lookaheads, and documentation.

Qualifications

• 7 to 10+ years of construction experience on mission-critical projects (data centers/industrial).
• Experience as Superintendent or equivalent field leadership role.
• Coordination of low voltage and controls with multiple trades.
• Knowledge of commissioning levels, startup sequencing and turnover requirements.
• Ability to read construction docs, control schematics, and network diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field execution for LV, controls, and tech scopes.
• Drive safety, pre-task planning, LOTO, and energized-work controls.
• Coordinate cabling, telecom rooms, pathways, and CCTV interfaces.
• Lead coordination among electrical, mechanical, IT, and commissioning teams.
• Review plans, submittals, and vendor documentation for constructability.
• Build 3- and 6-week lookaheads aligned to milestones.
• Maintain daily reports, logs, and as-built information.
• Represent Big-D Mission Critical with clients and partners.
