Job summary
Next Level Technician in King George, VA is seeking a Lead Low Voltage Technician/Installer to install Cat6 network cabling and pre-terminated fiber in commercial and data center environments. You will work with LC and MPO connectors, organize cables, and read layouts and blueprints.
The position offers $30-40/hour with weekly pay, PTO, medical benefits, sign-on and referral bonuses, and growth through BICSI-aligned training.
Qualifications
- 2+ years hands-on experience in commercial or data center environments.
- Experience with Cat6 and fiber optic cabling installation (pre-terminated preferred).
- Familiarity with LC and MPO connectors.
Responsibilities
- Install Cat6 network cabling and pre-terminated fiber in commercial/data center environments.
- Work with LC and MPO fiber connectors for high-performance connectivity.
- Dress and organize cables with proper wire management (trays, ladder racks).
- Rack and stack network switches, servers, and other network hardware.
- Label cables and components to maintain documentation.
