Job summary

Place Services, Inc. in Jackson, MS seeks a Lead Low Voltage Technician to install structured cabling (Cat6/6A) and fiber, and to support access control, video surveillance, intrusion, and fire alarm systems.

Lead a crew of up to five technicians, collaborate with the on-site PM/Superintendent, and ensure testing/certification of cabling. Knowledge of BICSI/NICET/NEC/TIA-EIA is required; OSHA-30 is a plus. Competitive benefits and on-site construction experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience on large construction sites under PM or Superintendent.
• Knowlege of BICSI, NICET, NEC, TIA/EIA standards.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors.
• OSHA-30 certification or equal is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install structured cabling and fiber; certify installations.
• Install/connect access control, video surveillance, intrusion, and fire alarm devices.
• Manage a crew of up to five technicians on projects.
• Coordinate with project manager on site and ensure testing results.
