Job summary

ADVANCED BUSINESS SOLUTIONS LLC is hiring a Low Voltage Pro in Michigan to lead full installation projects, from rough-in to finish, with minimal oversight. You will install data cabling, fiber, AV, security, CCTV, and related infrastructure, reading blueprints and ensuring tight, professional workmanship.

You will work independently and with small crews, testing, troubleshooting, and delivering on time to spec. A strong background with 5+ years is preferred, and certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years preferred in low voltage installation (structured cabling, security, or AV).
• Familiar with EIA/TIA cabling standards.
• Able to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• OSHA 10/30, BICSI, or manufacturer certifications are a plus but not required with strong experience.
• Reliable transportation, basic hand tools, and a clean professional appearance.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test low voltage systems (data, fiber, AV, security, CCTV).
• Read blueprints, floor plans, and wiring diagrams.
• Execute structured cabling projects—new builds, remodels, service work.
• Rack, stack, and dress cabling/equipment to professional standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues quickly and effectively.
• Work independently and lead small crews when needed.
• Deliver jobs on time and to spec.
