Job summary

Place Services, Inc. in Atlanta, GA seeks a Lead Low Voltage Technician to install structured cabling (Cat-6/6A, fiber) and mount/ connect Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intrusion, and Fire Alarm devices. You will support system startups and coordinate a crew on projects in the Atlanta area.

Must have extensive low voltage cabling experience, knowledge of BICSI/NICET/NEC, OSHA-30 certification, and the ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors. This role reports to on-site PM/ Superintendent.

Qualifications

• Experience on large construction site projects under a Project Manager or Superintendent.
• Knowledge of industry standards (BICSI, NICET, NEC, TIA/EIA).
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in diverse environments.

Responsibilities

• Install Structured Cabling Systems including Cat-6/6A, fiber, data center build-out and testing.
• Install and connect Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intrusion and Fire Alarm end devices; assist startup.
• Lead a crew of up to five technicians on typical projects; coordinate with PM/Superintendent.
