FlyLock Security Solutions is seeking a skilled Locksmith Technician for its Seattle franchise. You will perform emergency commercial lock work, install and maintain hardware, and manage access control systems across client sites.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in locksmithing and related trades, strong communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Franchise location operations provide hands‑on growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in technical hands‑on field experience in locksmithing, access control, door hardware, and other skilled trades.
• Good relationship‑building skills with a diverse population including all customers’ partners, technicians, and all other company employees.
• Good verbal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple functions at the same time.
• Good organizational skills.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Capable of working effectively as part of a team.
• Able to work safely on ladders.
• Ability to drive in compliance with company vehicle policy.
• Provide a high level of timely & accurate customer service.
• Communicates effectively with the client to determine what services are needed.
• Respond to general inquiries from customers/clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency work orders for commercial clients.
• Install, repair, and maintain commercial and residential hardware.
• Install, repair, and maintain Access Control Hardware.
• Install and modify hardware for locks.
• Create and maintain master key systems.
• Residential & Commercial Lock re-keying/Pinning of locks.
• Troubleshoot with a variety of variables in different situations.
• Clean, maintain, adjust, calibrate & service equipment used.
• Read operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Communicate effectively and make recommendations to commercial clients.
