Job summary
Albertsons Companies is seeking a Lead Digital Specialist, Local SEO to drive enterprise Local SEO strategy and execution across banners and store locations. You will partner with Engineering, Product, Marketing, Analytics, and Operations to implement scalable SEO solutions that boost local visibility and store engagement.
The ideal candidate has deep Local/Technical SEO expertise, data governance experience, and a track record of enterprise-scale delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
- 7+ years in SEO, Local SEO, Digital Marketing, or related disciplines.
- 3+ years leading enterprise-scale Local SEO programs.
- Experience with location data platforms such as Yext and major listings.
- Collaboration with Engineering, Product, and Technical teams to deliver SEO initiatives.
- Strong understanding of technical SEO, structured data and site architecture.
Responsibilities
- Lead the enterprise Local SEO strategy across banners and locations.
- Improve visibility in local search results and location-based journeys.
- Define requirements for templates, schema markup, and internal linking.
- Monitor search algorithms and AI-driven search trends to inform optimization.
- Develop governance for data accuracy and QA across listings.
