Job summary
Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Mentor, OH is seeking an experienced Lead Loading Dock / Commercial & Industrial Door Technician to service customers in Northeast Ohio. This field-based role leads installation and service crews, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing dock and door equipment.
You will travel throughout the territory, supervise daily jobsite crews, and ensure quality workmanship and customer service.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience installing, repairing, or troubleshooting commercial or residential door/ loading dock equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Welding experience and/or electrical troubleshooting preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and on construction sites.
- Must pass a DOT physical and drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Receive and complete daily service work orders.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial dock and door equipment.
- Install commercial and industrial doors and loading dock equipment.
- Lead and supervise daily jobsite crews.
- Ensure quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
- Travel to customer locations throughout the assigned territory.
