Job summary

Cypress-Fairbanks ISD in Texas is seeking an Audio/Video Technician to support live events with AV, video, lighting, and network systems. You will operate and troubleshoot equipment on stage and ensure safety and reliability for productions.

You will provide customer service to district staff, promoters, and event clients, document usage, and collaborate with Production staff to meet event needs. Flex hours and site travel may occur.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years AV live event experience.
• CTS certification preferred.
• Experience with event support and AV systems operation.
• Familiar with video/audio/lighting and network systems.

Responsibilities

• Set up, troubleshoot, operate, and document AV equipment for events.
• Provide technical support for events by Production staff.
• Deliver quality customer service to clients and staff.
• Track hours and equipment usage for billing and planning.
• Demonstrate understanding of all CFISD AV systems.
• Lead staff by providing cues and relaying client needs.
• Meet with clients to ensure successful operation of technology.
• Perform duties assigned by Administration Building leadership.
• Maintain regular attendance.
