Job summary

Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District's Visual and Performing Arts Center in Cypress, Texas, is seeking an Audio Visual Operator. The role requires two years of AV experience, a high school diploma or GED, and may prefer AVIXA CTS certification.

You will support events with audio, video, lighting, and IT networking systems. Responsibilities include setup, operation, troubleshooting, customer service, and collaboration with the Production staff.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED; two years of experience in live event audio/visual operation and support is required.
Preference given to AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist (CTS).
Experience with event support and operation of AV systems including audio, video, lighting, rigging and networking.

Responsibilities

Setup, troubleshoot, operate, and document AV equipment for events.
Provide technical support for all events managed by Production staff.
Deliver quality customer service to the public, district staff, promoters, and clients.
Track and report AV hours, event details, and equipment usage for billing and planning.
Lead other staff by providing operational direction through production cues.
