Job summary

International Paper is seeking a 3rd Shift Printing Supervisor in Conway, AR, to lead the Litho department and its hourly crew on the 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM shift. You will guide safety, quality, productivity and engagement to meet targets and ensure a safe, high-quality output.

Responsibilities include supervising hiring, training, performance reviews, and coordinating with pre-press and management. Strong knowledge of lithographic press systems and G7 color theory is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2+ years supervisory experience in a printing or packaging environment.
• Experience with lithographic press systems and print production workflows.
• Knowledge of G7 color theory.
• Experience in the corrugated packaging industry preferred.
• Strong safety mindset and commitment to a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervisor to 3rd shift Litho Department of hourly employees; supervise, direct and lead in safety, quality, productivity and engagement to meet goals.
• Hire, train, plan, assign and direct work; evaluate performance; reward and discipline employees; promote safety and quality.
• Lead and motivate by example to ensure safe, efficient operations and quality product.
• Communicate operational information to crew, supervisors, plant management and customers.
• Promote and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and initiatives.
• Maintain documentation, reports, and time approvals for direct reports.
• Review projects for accuracy and prerequisites before production; read layouts.
• Monitor inventory levels of Litho chemistry, rollers, and supplies; reorder as needed.
• Coordinate production and planning with Pre-press department; schedule shifts and overtime.
• Ensure preventative maintenance programs are followed as scheduled.
