Job summary

PCI Group is seeking an Assistant Lead - Print Room in Irving, TX to support Print Teams, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure continuous workflow. This role acts as backup for the Shift Lead, operating presses and folding machinery as needed.

You will help supervise daily operations, maintain quality checks, and promote safe, compliant production practices across the Print department. Strong English reading/writing and experience in transactional mail or print production are preferred.

Qualifications

• Operate and troubleshoot high-volume printing and folding equipment.
• Lead and guide team members to meet production targets.
• Maintain adherence to standard work practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Shift Lead with daily responsibilities and tasks.
• Provide coverage during breaks and absences.
• Serve as floater across teams to address issues.
• Ensure teams follow production workflows and safety rules.
• Fill in for Print Operators to sustain production.
• Lead Print Teams and escalate issues to management.
• Promote Continuous Improvement within Print department.
• Oversee daily operations and assist with routine tasks.
• Maintain compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
