Job summary

Unisys is seeking a senior Linux Administrator to provide ongoing systems administration across locations. You will manage installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Linux environments, lead incident response, and help shape Linux strategy.

The role requires strong Red Hat Linux expertise, KVM, clustering, AIX, Unix, VMware, and experience with DR/HA in OCI and Azure. U.S. citizenship and residency are required.

Qualifications

BA/BS degree plus 8+ years of relevant experience; master's preferred
Expert-level Linux systems administration and enterprise infrastructure design
Experience with Red Hat Linux, including KVM and clustering
Experience with AIX, Unix, VMware
Knowledge of disaster recovery and high availability in cloud environments (OCI and Azure)
U.S. Citizenship and residency required

Responsibilities

Lead Systems Administration across the company and guide less experienced team members
Implement automation and process intelligence tools to improve efficiency and data-driven decisions
Design, develop, and maintain Systems Administration infrastructure (OS, virtualization, cloud, directory services, monitoring)
Advise on resolution of unique, complex, business-critical issues
