Welocalize Life Sciences is seeking a seasoned localization professional to manage translation and copy-editing across accounts. You will coordinate with freelancers, maintain language resources, and resolve terminology queries while supporting clients and internal teams to improve workflow efficiency.

The role requires extensive experience in translation/localization, strong leadership in linguistics, and the ability to train others.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Translation/Applied Languages or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years of full-time experience in translation/localization/editing or content writing
• 8+ years of relevant translation/localization/editing experience
• 5+ years of review experience
• Thorough understanding of the localization process
• Excellent knowledge of terminology across subject matters
• Experience coordinating translators and vendors
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Aufgaben

• Managing translation and copy-editing tasks for projects or accounts
• Coordinating with freelancers, agencies, and internal linguists
• Maintaining language resources (glossaries, Style Guides) up to date
• Resolving terminology queries and testing new freelancers/vendors
• Interacting with clients on linguistic matters as required
• Developing and training internal linguists and freelancers
• Ensuring on-time delivery and meeting KPIs
• Proposing process improvements
