Job summary

The Bowlin Group in Walton, Kentucky seeks a skilled Line Technician to support construction, repair, and maintenance of electric distribution and transmission lines. You will follow safety rules, learn and apply procedures, and assist/train other staff as needed.

Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, working on energized lines, and coordinating with supervision to ensure safe, efficient operations while maintaining equipment and reporting safety concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Must speak, read, write English and follow written/oral instructions.
• Valid state driver''s license and pass the driver''s test for operating company vehicles.
• Seasonal/field work in varying weather; able to work inside and outside.
• Willing to lead/train others and ensure safe, cooperative work.

Responsibilities

• Assist Line Technician/B with construction, repair and maintenance of electric lines.
• Interpret and execute construction drawings and blueprints for line work.
• Work on energized and de-energized lines; install/repair line hardware and devices.
• Phase out/parallel primary/secondary circuits and transformers.
• Keep equipment, tools, and work areas clean and orderly.
• Report to locations for training and participate in programs.
