Job summary

5 Star Electric, LLC, a premier electrical contractor in Western Kentucky, seeks a Class B Lineman to join its on-site team serving Western Kentucky and Louisville, KY.

The role requires two to three years of experience, a valid Class A CDL and DOT medical card, ability to climb poles, work in varied weather, read meters, and follow safety procedures. This is a full-time, on-site position with overtime and travel opportunities.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience or equivalent hours.
• Valid State Driver License and Class A CDL required.
• Pass criminal and MVR background checks and pre-employment drug screen.
• Must complete OSHA 10hr Safety Training within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Climb poles and work with energized/de-energized lines.
• Digs holes and sets poles for electrical lines.
• Spans and strings wire on new construction or repairs.
• Sets and connects transformers and distribution equipment.
• Operates service truck and maintains tools and equipment.
