Campbell's in New York, NY is seeking a Line Technician to help run production lines safely and efficiently, lead setups, perform troubleshooting, and support continuous improvement initiatives. You will ensure quality and timely packaging of items across shifts.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, strong mechanical aptitude, leadership abilities, and solid computer skills to work with production systems. Overtime and safety compliance are expected.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and make minor adjustments.
• Ability to lead and support team activities on a production line.
• Strong computer skills and ability to work with production systems.
• Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead line setup and product changeovers, identifying critical controls and potential issues.
• Provide daily production run sheets to packaging machine operators.
• Update production systems and case count boards to communicate production performance and goals across shifts.
• Maintain raw material inventory and communicate discrepancies as needed.
• Set up and operate multiple packaging machines.
• Keep production lines running efficiently by clearing jams and minimizing downtime.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and make minor machine adjustments.
• Support packaging machinery operations by troubleshooting coding, dating, and pricing issues.
• Monitor product weights and appearance to ensure quality standards are met.
• Read and interpret machine performance data.
