Job summary

Hilton Minneapolis Airport is seeking an experienced Line Cook to prepare menu items according to recipes, supervise line staff, and ensure sanitation. You will assign prep work, adjust priorities, and coordinate changes with the team throughout shifts.

The role requires strong teamwork, with focus on reliability and the ability to work all stations. Night/weekend/holiday availability is expected.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience as a Line Cook in a hotel/resort or restaurant.
• Ability to work all stations on the line.
• High work ethic and self-initiative.
• May be required to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides.
• Direct, train, and monitor performance of Line Cooks; maintain sanitation.
• Prepare and assign production and prep work for Line Cooks; review priorities.
• Communicate changes to assignments as they arise during shift.
• Set up work station with mis en place, tools, equipment and supplies; breakdown and close.
• Inform Sous Chef of supplies to requisition for the day's tasks.
