Job summary

True Food Kitchen in Plano, TX is seeking a line cook to join our fast-paced kitchen. You will prep, cook, and plate dishes across Pantry, Pastry, Pizza, Wok, Sauté, or Grill stations, with experience in multiple stations a plus.

Responsibilities include portioning, following recipes, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness, with flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical tasks include lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• 6+ months in a high-volume restaurant (preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, bend, reach and twist

Responsibilities

• Prepare starters, entrées, pizzas, and more
• Follow portions, recipes, and quality standards
• Keep your station clean, stocked, and organized
• Assist with prep, opening/closing, and smooth operations
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills and other kitchen equipment
• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients
• Wash and disinfect kitchen, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
