Job summary

Columbia Hospitality’s Galloway’s Cocktail Bar in Bellingham, WA is seeking a part-time Lead Line Cook to support daily prep, assist with new menu items, and maintain high-quality food presentations. You will supervise line cooks, ensure sanitation, and help with opening/closing kitchen operations to meet guest expectations for fresh bites and crafted cocktails.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in industry
• Able to cook proteins to pre-determined temperatures
• State Food Handler’s License(s)
• Ability to read and follow instructions and present information clearly
• Working knowledge of basic sauces
• Must possess knife skills and accommodate customers’ needs

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily prep per specification sheets
• Prepare new menu items under supervisor
• Ensure attractive presentation of food items
• Supervise line cooks to monitor quality and consistency
• Handle customer requests in a timely manner
• Set up, restock, and maintain prep areas
• Open and close kitchen procedures
• Read and interpret recipes and conduct inventories
