Job summary

Columbia Hospitality is seeking a Lead Line Cook to support the culinary team with daily food preparation and to maintain high-quality dishes that align with our culinary standards. You will train and guide line cooks, oversee kitchen organization and ensure sanitation compliance.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, inventory tasks, and delivering consistent, chef-driven plates while managing a small team in a diverse environment at Smith Tower, Seattle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industry, at least two years as a lead.
• Able to cook proteins to pre-determined temperatures.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instruction, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information to other employees.

• Lead day-to-day food preparation and ensure high-quality dishes that align with culinary standards.
• Train and guide line cooks, oversee kitchen organization and safety.
• Ensure sanitation standards and safe food-handling practices.
