Job summary

The Salvation Army Kroc Center in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Lead Lifeguard to support aquatic programs, supervise staff, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

This part-time position offers up to 18 hours/week with a pay rate of $18.50/hour and a $1.00/hour weekend differential for shifts Fri–Sun. Responsibilities include training staff, coordinating swim lessons, and enforcing facility regulations.

Qualifications

• Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification and CPR/AED/First Aid.
• Two years of lifeguarding and swim lesson instruction experience.
• Experience supervising staff and delivering customer-friendly service.

Responsibilities

• Enforce rules and monitor areas to maintain a safe environment.
• Assist with day-to-day aquatics operations and events.
• Oversee staff, lifeguards, and instructors; support trainings and certifications.
• Respond to emergencies with CPR/AED/First Aid; supervise rescue procedures.
• Maintain equipment, inspect pool areas, and manage records and calendars.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist with in-service trainings.
