Job summary

The Salvation Army's Kroc Center in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Morning Lifeguard for the opening pool shift from 5:15 am to 1:00 pm. This 25-hour/week role includes lifeguard duties, light facility upkeep, and instruction potential.

Starting pay is $16.16/hour with the possibility to earn +$1.00/hour as a Swim Instructor and a $1.00/hour weekend shift differential. The position offers PTO, holidays, and retirement contributions.

Qualifications

• 1 year of continuous experience in lifeguarding preferred.
• Experience working with adults, youth and children.
• American Red Cross Lifeguard certification required; Waterpark Certification preferred; must be completed upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Enforce Kroc rules to provide a safe environment for members, visitors and staff.
• Analyze situations and respond quickly; maintain constant observation of assigned area.
• Rescue swimmers and provide first aid/CPR when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of pool areas.
• Provide excellent customer service to the community.
