Job summary

The Kroc Center in Green Bay, WI seeks a Lifeguard to monitor pool activities, ensure safety, and assist with swim lessons and events. The role supports daily operations and requires strong English communication; non-certified applicants may be trained on the job.

Paid at $16.16/hour with potential extra $1/hour for Swim Instructor duties and a $1/hour shift differential on Fri-Sun evenings. Up to 18 hours weekly with varied shifts.

Qualifications

• 1 year lifeguard experience preferred in a group setting.
• Experience with diverse adults, youth and children.
• American Red Cross Lifeguard certification required; Waterpark Certification preferred and not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Enforce pool rules to maintain a safe environment for all users.
• Observe swimmers and respond to emergencies with first aid/CPR as needed.
• Assist with swim lessons, special events, and daily operations.
• Maintain pool area cleanliness and report equipment issues.
• Support water chemistry testing and record-keeping as required.
• Participate in staff training and annual in-service sessions.
