Job summary

21 - EXOS Community Services, LLC is seeking staff to ensure patron safety and quality experiences in the Aquatics Area. Responsibilities include frontline customer service, coordinating emergency actions, and adjusting programs to meet patron needs.

Qualifications include accredited lifeguarding, CPR/AED and First Aid, plus prior lifeguarding or swim lesson experience. Health benefits and a pathway to professional development are provided for eligible full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Current accredited Lifeguarding Certification or the ability to obtain the certification at the time of hire.
• Prior experience lifeguarding or teaching swim lessons.
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications or the ability to obtain the certification at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Address patron concerns and provide frontline customer service.
• Coordinate emergency response efforts per YWCA's Emergency Action Plan.
• Communicate schedule changes and updates to staff and patrons.
• Ensure lifeguard rotation and break schedules are followed.
• Adjust water features and programs to suit patron needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the Aquatics Area.
• Track and replenish first aid and safety supplies.
• Assist with administrative and programming duties as assigned.
• Provide lifeguard or swim instruction coverage when needed.
