Job summary

EXOS Community Services, LLC is seeking a Head Lifeguard to lead our Aquatics team. You will supervise lifeguards, ensure safety protocols, and deliver frontline customer service to patrons.

Coordinate emergency response per policy, manage rotations and break schedules, adjust water features, and help with programming and swim instruction coverage. Applicants should hold a current Lifeguarding Certification and CPR/AED First Aid, or obtain them at the time of hire; benefits include health

Qualifications

• Current accredited Lifeguarding Certification or the ability to obtain the certification at time of hire.
• Prior experience lifeguarding or teaching swim lessons.
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications or the ability to obtain the certification at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Address patron concerns and provide frontline customer service.
• Coordinate emergency response efforts per YWCA’s Emergency Action Plan.
• Communicate schedule changes and updates to staff and patrons.
• Ensure lifeguard rotation and break schedules are followed.
• Adjust water features and programs to suit patron needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the Aquatics Area.
• Track and replenish first aid and safety supplies.
• Assist with administrative and programming duties as assigned.
• Provide lifeguard or swim instruction coverage when needed.
