Job summary

EXOS is seeking a Lifeguard to join our aquatics team. You will watch the pool area, enforce rules, and respond to injuries or emergencies per club policy.

You will teach private and group swim lessons to kids and adults of all abilities, and assist in developing and marketing innovative swim programs.

Participating in center maintenance and cleanliness, and supporting Exos Readiness mission and team goals.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
• Current accredited Lifeguarding Certification or the ability to obtain the certification at time of hire.
• Prior experience lifeguarding or teaching swim lessons.
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications or the ability to obtain the certification at time of hire.
• Ability to be in water for long periods during the day.

Responsibilities

• Maintain watch over the pool area ensuring a secure and safe environment.
• Enforce pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents.
• Respond to all injuries, incidents, and emergencies as directed by club policy.
• Teach private & group swim lessons to kids and adults of all abilities.
• Assist in the development, implementation and marketing of innovative swim programs.
• Assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of the aquatics center.
