Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead on-site life science projects in New Jersey. The role focuses on managing complex, technical builds, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence on high-profile projects.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in supervision, a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in construction, with life science/technical project exposure.
Strong leadership and communication skills across stakeholders.
Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and specifications.
Proven track record of delivering on-time, within budget, and with quality.

Responsibilities

Oversee all on-site construction activities for life science projects, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery.
Coordinate and supervise on-site personnel, subcontractors, and consultants to meet plans.
Maintain strict quality control and safety standards and take corrective action as needed.
Communicate project status and issues to clients, architects, engineers, and team members.
