Job summary

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, CO, seeks a Research Services Principal Professional – LaboratorySciences to lead LC‑MS/MS analytics for pre‑clinical and clinical studies in a cGLP‑compliant, CAP‑accredited, CLIA‑certified laboratory. You will develop and validate HPLC and LC‑MS assays and guide study design and data analysis through manuscript preparation.

You will provide informal leadership, mentoring, and serve as a resource to principal investigators across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, molecular biology, chemistry, genetics or related field.
• Substitution: A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.
• Three (3) years professional level research experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and lead LC‑MS/MS analytics for pre‑clinical and clinical academic and regulatory studies
• Develop and validate HPLC and LC‑MS assays
• Provide laboratory science expertise and leadership in study design, data analysis, and manuscript preparation
• Independently review, develop, and implement new or modified laboratory techniques
• Maintain a GLP‑compliant laboratory environment
• Serve as a resource to principal investigators and other stakeholders
• Provide informal leadership to team members, including mentoring and workload guidance
