Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and Airframe and Powerplant license required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel is ideal, but not mandatory.
• 8+ years in aviation maintenance preferred; 4+ years in program-specific airframes.
• Strong leadership, supervision and project-management abilities; excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to complete jobs and manage day-to-day tasks with good judgment.
• Implement smooth turnover of work to the next shift and coordinate project flow.
• Identify opportunities to reduce turn time on aircraft and improve efficiency.
• Train and mentor technicians; supervise daily workload and ensure quality.
• Perform general mechanical work on aircraft and related systems; support FAA paperwork.
