Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking a Landscaper III to maintain industrial, commercial, and public properties. You will perform complex landscaping tasks, operate commercial-grade equipment safely, and care for plant materials and landscape elements while working independently.

The role requires qualification in equipment safety, pesticide certification, and a clean accident-free record, with opportunities to mentor teammates and support Crew Leader objectives.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment.
• Certified on level 3 equipment.
• Certified to apply pesticides.
• Six months accident-free performance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain site details and perform landscaping tasks.
• Lead duties when Crew Leader is off site.
• Collaborate with Crew Leader to resolve problems and scheduling.
• Complete punch list items without supervision.
• Provide solutions to deliver quality results.
• Cut turf with mowers, trim and edge; operate a gas blower.
• Prune shrubs and low trees to improve shape.
• Identify irrigation problems and coordinate repairs.
• Repair broken sprinkler heads.
• Plant and maintain flowerbeds.
• Operate edger and trimmer along sidewalks and beds.
• Remove debris; mulch leaves during mowing.
• Weed by hand or with hoe.
• Train team on preventative maintenance of trucks.
• Identify common weeds and suggest control methods.
• Coach team on safety topics.
• Assist Crew Leader with coaching.
• Maintain friendly, responsive demeanor with guests.
