Job summary

Mariani Landscape is seeking a Project Director to lead design development, create construction documents, estimates, and proposals, and mentor landscape designers. You will collaborate with the design team, clients, and sales staff on a regular basis.

The role requires a strong background in landscape design, AutoCAD proficiency, and the ability to manage complex projects within budget and schedule. This is a senior position within our design-build practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or Horticulture with emphasis in Design.
• Certification in Landscape Architecture recommended.
• 10 years of experience as a Landscape Designer.
• Exemplary knowledge of landscape terminology, plant materials, and construction coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and site engineering concepts; familiarity with ASPIRE.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality landscape design with supporting materials such as sketches, elevations, and rendered plans.
• Supervises Landscape Designers and Design Interns, coordinating with Design and Marketing Directors.
• Create quality and unique designs within budget and on a timely basis.
• Develop grading and drainage plans in accordance with site engineering principles.
• Review construction drawings for technical and graphic accuracy.
