Job summary

Mariani Landscape is seeking a Project Architect to support the design team by developing high-quality landscape designs, construction documents, estimates, and proposals for presentations led by the Design Principal and Design Directors. It also provides mentorship to landscape designers and reviews project work to strengthen the department's output.

This role interacts with design and sales teams regularly and requires strong AutoCAD/ASPIRE skills, collaboration, and attention to detail within

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or Horticulture with emphasis in Design.
• Experience in landscape industry preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Suite.
• Knowledge of landscape terminology and construction materials.
• Basic understanding of site engineering and survey equipment.
• Ability to learn company estimating and design software (ASPIRE).

Responsibilities

• Produce quality landscape design with supporting materials (sketches, elevations, rendered plans).
• Prepare site analyses, project packages, estimates, and proposals.
• Mentor Landscape Designers and review design packages for accuracy.
• Coordinate with Design Directors and Project Directors to update status.
• Develop grading and drainage plans and verify site conditions.
