Job summary

Naylor Landscape Management in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking multiple Landscape Foremen to lead small crews on landscape construction and maintenance projects. You will coordinate with supervisors and clients to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of high-quality landscapes.

The role requires 5+ years in landscape construction and at least 1 year as a foreman, with strong leadership and communication skills. Benefits include competitive pay, overtime options, and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of landscape construction experience
• At least one year of experience as a landscape foreman
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to obtain CDL Class A license within 60 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a crew of 1-2 team members on landscape construction projects
• Coordinate daily tasks with the Landscape Construction Manager and Field Supervisor
• Install retaining walls, paver walks and patios, outdoor kitchens, water features, planting beds, trees, shrubs, and lawns (seeded and sodded)
• Oversee holiday lighting installation and takedown, as well as snow removal operations
• Train and mentor crew members to ensure safe and efficient work practices
• Maintain a professional, friendly, and courteous demeanor with clients, vendors, and team members
• Ensure all work meets Naylor Landscape Management’s quality standards and is completed within project timelines and budgets
