Job summary

Naylor Landscape Management is seeking a Landscape Foreman to lead a dynamic team in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Candidates are expected to have over five years of landscape construction experience and strong leadership capabilities. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing various landscape projects, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining a friendly, professional interaction.

The expected hourly rate ranges from $27 to $35, with total income potential exceeding $90,000 annually through additional earnings such as job commissions and profit sharing.

Qualifications

• Five years or more of landscape construction experience.
• One year or more of successful landscape foreman experience.
• Desire to complete projects on time while maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and work with team members in a professional manner.
• Participate in landscape projects including retaining walls and outdoor kitchens.
• Manage training and leading crews effectively.

Skills

The Landscape Foreman will work closely with landscape team members, Landscape Construction Manager, Field Supervisor and customers. He or she must have ability to lead and work with team members, vendors and clients in a professional, friendly and courteous manner.

Daily Activities

• Retaining walls
• Paver walks and patios
• Outdoor kitchens
• Water features
• Planting beds
• Trees and shrubs
• Seeded and sodded lawns
• Other related landscape projects.
• Holiday Lighting Installation & Takedown
• Snow Removal
• Training
• Leading Crews

Candidate must have a desire to complete projects on time while meeting Naylor Landscape Management’s quality standards and staying within budget.

Experience

• Five years or more of landscape construction experience
• Working knowledge of horticultural practices
• Heavy landscape equipment safety, use and care
• One year or more of successful landscape foreman experience

Licenses

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver’s License
• Chauffeur’s license
• Ability to obtain a CDL Class A license within 60 days of hire

We offer an hourly rate of $27–$35 based on leadership experience. Additional earnings are available through overtime, snow pay, job commissions and profit sharing, with a total income potential of over $90,000 per year. A sign‑on bonus is also offered.
