Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking a Crew Leader Driver in Michigan. The role directs 2–5 team members, ensuring safe, efficient service across maintenance, installation, and irrigation support. Strong leadership and plant-care experience are essential.

Starting pay is $20–$22 per hour, with potential increases based on prior work and licenses. Valid driver’s license and chauffeur endorsement strongly preferred; DOT medical considerations may apply.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required and able to operate multiple vehicle types.
• Chauffeur’s license/endorsement required; willingness to obtain at own expense considered.
• Minimum 1 year of Landscaping Crew Leader experience required.
• DOT Medical Card preferred; capable of DOT exam and drug test if needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare landscape trucks for daily operations, load and secure equipment.
• Deliver services per client specifications, maintain schedules and service quality.
• Identify and escalate customer issues to Operations Manager.
• Communicate with Operations Manager to align client needs and expectations.
• Oversee day-to-day site operations, delegate tasks, and train crew members.
• Log crew time and equipment usage; perform preventive maintenance on gear.
