Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking an experienced Landscaping Crew Leader/Foreman to join our Portage, MI team. The role requires 1 year of verifiable leadership experience, a valid driver’s license, and a chauffeur’s endorsement. MDARD licenses are a plus and can accelerate consideration.

Starting pay ranges from $17 to $21 per hour and may increase based on prior work experience and certifications. Candidates should be able to pass a medical exam if required and are expected to manage 2-5 crew

Qualifications

NOT an entry-level role; must have at least 1 year of verifiable Landscaping Crew Leader/Foreman experience.
MDARD pesticide licenses preferred and can move candidate to top of list.
Must have valid Driver's License and Chauffeur’s endorsement or license.

Responsibilities

Direct 2-5 crew members and ensure tasks are completed safely and to BrightView standards.
Prepare landscape trucks and equipment for daily operations; ensure timely service on client sites.
Communicate with Operations Manager and resolve customer service issues as needed.
Oversee day-to-day site operations and train team members.
Maintain equipment, log time and usage, and perform safety checks.
