Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking an experienced Crew Leader Driver in Portage, MI. You will direct 2–5 team members, ensure safe and efficient task execution, and maintain client service standards.

A valid driver’s license and chauffeur endorsement are required, with MDARD licenses and a DDOT medical card highly valued. The role demands at least 1 year of landscaping crew leadership, with opportunities to advance based on licenses and performance.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Chauffeur's endorsement or license is required.
• Minimum 1 year Landscaping Crew Leader experience required.
• MDARD pesticide licenses held or willing to maintain them at company cost.
• DDOT Medical Card held or pass a medical exam post-offer.
• Irrigation troubleshooting/repair experience, incl. start up and shut down.
• Hardscapes experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare landscape trucks for daily operations and safely operate vehicles.
• Deliver services on client sites and maintain schedules and service expectations.
• Oversee day-to-day site operations and delegate work to crew.
• Provide feedback and training to crew members.
• Maintain equipment and log maintenance and usage.
• Log crew time via ETC and ensure compliance with safety policies.
