Job summary

James River Grounds Management, LLC is seeking a dedicated Crew Leader to supervise a field crew on landscaping projects. You will ensure safe, efficient work while meeting quality standards and deadlines.

The role includes training crew members, planning tasks, and coordinating materials and equipment under the direction of the Operations Manager. The candidate should have at least two years in landscape maintenance, hold a high school diploma or GED, and ideally possess a state technician

• Supervise crew on job sites, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery.
• Plan, assign, and direct work; coordinate materials and equipment.
• Maintain safety compliance and address client concerns on site.
• Provide on-the-job training and leadership to crew members.
• Communicate with management and clients per the communication plan.
• Inspections and punch list management; report progress to Operations Manager.
