Job summary

BrightView is seeking a Crew Leader in Hillside, NJ to oversee landscape operations at client sites, manage a crew of 2-5, and ensure tasks are completed safely and to BrightView’s quality standards. The role covers maintenance, installation, irrigation, seasonal color management, and chemical applications.

Leadership is essential to maintain client satisfaction, supervise services, train crew members, and ensure equipment is properly maintained in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Qualifications

• BrightView Equipment certifications required.
• Experience in a landscape-related field.
• Demonstrated leadership among the team and with peers.
• Valid Driver License is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a schedule and ensure service expectations are met.
• Surface customer problems or concerns and report back to Operations Manager.
• Assist in resolving issues with customer service when needed.
• Ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with company policies.
• Communicate regularly with Operations Manager to ensure client needs and expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
• Deliver services as specified on client sites.
• Work to identify more efficient ways to perform work.
• Oversee day-to-day site operations and delegate work to crew team members.
