Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Crew Leader to supervise a landscape crew on job sites, ensuring safe, efficient work and timely delivery of quality projects. You will train crew members, plan and direct work, manage materials and equipment, and address customer issues, reporting to the Operations Manager.

Requirements include a minimum of two years in landscape maintenance, a high school diploma or GED, and a preferred (but not required) State Technician/Applicator license.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of professional landscape maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current State Technician and/or Applicator license preferred but not required.
• General knowledge of irrigation systems.
• General knowledge of horticultural and maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Create schedules with management to follow job specifications, materials, and timelines.
• Organize, supervise, lead, and train employees to complete projects within guidelines and timeframe.
• Ensure obligations align with proper horticultural practices.
• Maintain equipment and complete preventive maintenance program.
• Inspect job sites weekly and manage punch lists.
• Identify ways to improve work processes, efficiency, and quality.
• Communicate with onsite clients per communication plan.
• Respond to client requests and follow up to ensure needs are met.
• Keep manager informed of client concerns and communication on site.
• Maintain safe working conditions and follow safety guidelines.
