Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Crew Leader to directly supervise a landscape crew on job sites, ensuring safety, efficiency, and high-quality workmanship. You will develop and train crew members, plan, assign, and direct work, and manage materials, equipment, and customer issues under the Operations Manager.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and dependable attendance, with emphasis on scheduling and on-site client liaison.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional landscape maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current State Technician and/or Applicator license preferred but not required.
• General knowledge of irrigation systems.
• General knowledge of horticultural and maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise crew on job sites and ensure safety and efficiency.
• Coordinate with management to create schedules and follow specifications.
• Train and develop crew members to meet project timelines.
• Maintain materials and equipment; manage inventory and maintenance.
• Address and resolve customer issues; communicate with onsite clients.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
• Inspect job sites and manage punch lists with the manager.
• Identify opportunities to improve work processes and quality.
• Maintain effective communication with the client and manager.
