Job summary

SNIPEBRIDGE, on behalf of an award-winning landscape architecture practice in Dallas, seeks a Landscape Architect with 4–12 years of experience to lead site planning, design development, and construction documentation. You will guide junior designers, coordinate with clients and consultants, and manage schedules and budgets across a diverse project portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture.
• 4–12 years of professional landscape architecture experience.
• Licensure preferred but not required.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong design judgment and visual communication.
• Experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, and consultant coordination.
• Ability to move between conceptual design and technical decisions to deliver built work.
• Experience communicating with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors.
• Knowledge of grading, drainage, planting, materials, detailing, constructability, and construction administration.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while preserving design intent.
• Clear written, verbal, and visual communication; collaborative leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead landscape architecture projects through site planning, conceptual design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
• Develop site-responsive design concepts that integrate creative, technical, and environmental considerations.
• Translate design ideas into drawings, presentations, models, details, and construction documents.
• Coordinate project work with principals, internal team members, clients, architects, engineers, and other consultants.
• Serve as a consistent point of contact for clients and consultant teams throughout the project.
• Organize project workflows, establish priorities, and maintain progress across multiple phases.
• Manage project schedules, work plans, deliverables, and budgets.
• Review drawings and documentation for accuracy, coordination, constructability, design continuity, and overall quality.
• Guide junior designers through direction, critique, technical review, and day-to-day mentorship.
• Support construction administration through submittal review, field questions, site observation, and contractor coordination.
• Contribute to a collaborative studio environment and uphold design/documentation standards.
