Job summary

Renaissance Infrastructure Consulting (RIC) is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor licensed in Colorado to join our Denver-area team. You will guide survey projects from planning through field work and documentation, coordinating with crews, clients, and engineers to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of combined field and office experience, PLS licensure in Colorado, proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D, and a collaborative, safety-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' combined field and office experience in land surveying.
• PLS registration in Colorado is required; multi-state preferred.
• Experience with Robotic Total Stations & GPS.
• LiDAR experience is a plus.
• Field procedures for DOT, boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS surveys.
• Experience drafting topographic surveys for design and legal descriptions.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil3D; familiarity with MicroStation/Geopak a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; strong organizational and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in office and in the field; ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects with clients and survey crews.
• Assist crew with computations and data collection using field equipment.
• Coordinate with on-site supervisors and clients.
• Work with land development plans and construction stakeout computations.
• Download/upload survey data, notes, and photos from field crews.
• Prepare survey studies, reports, drawings, and legal descriptions.
• Prepare boundary and topographic surveys and ALTA/NSPS documents.
• Review data for accuracy and coordinate with internal and external teams.
• Foster client relationships and maintain professional conduct.
