Job summary

Gulf Companies is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor to join our team, with a remote work option. The PLS will manage multiple survey projects, supervise staff, review field measurements, and direct surveys to ensure quality control and timely delivery.

The role requires a PLS license in at least some of the states listed, 5+ years of experience, and familiarity with Trimble equipment and AutoCAD Civil 3D. Travel may be required for project support.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in at least some of the following states: FL, GA, AL, TX, NM, AZ. MS and LA.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying.

Responsibilities

• Experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Conduct field surveys to gather data for land boundary determinations and topographic mapping.
• Prepare and process legal descriptions, plats, and maps for recording purposes.
• Communicate with clients, team members, and stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and techniques in land surveying to improve services.
• Maintain and update records and reports related to surveying activities.
• Familiarity with GIS and mapping software.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
