Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) and strong knowledge of boundary law.
• 5-8+ years of land surveying experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, Leica/Topcon workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams, projects, and client relationships.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead boundary, ALTA/NSPS, construction staking, and topographic surveys across diverse project types.
• Supervise and mentor field crews, providing technical direction and development.
• Manage survey projects from kickoff through closeout - timelines, budgets, quality.
• Review and prepare plats, legal descriptions, right-of-way maps, and drawings.
• Operate GPS, robotic total stations, laser scanners, UAVs, and advanced survey tech.
• Collaborate with clients, project managers, engineers, and public agencies.
• Serve as signing surveyor per state licensing requirements.
• Champion safety, data integrity, and continuous improvement.
