The role offers project leadership, client development, and a defined path toward equity ownership within the surveying practice. The successful candidate will manage projects, staff and proposals while collaborating with an affiliated civil/environmental engineering firm.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut Land Surveyor license.
• Substantial professional land surveying experience.
• Experience with boundary determination and land records research.
• Strong project-management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Entrepreneurial outlook with interest in ownership and long-term leadership.
• Experience managing a survey department or practice is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Boundary research, analysis and resolution.
• Review and preparation of survey plans.
• Land records and deed research.
• Survey computations and technical review.
• Preparation of proposals and cost estimates.
