Job summary

McClure Engineering Company is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor to join our Boston-area team. You will work with crew chiefs, prepare survey drawings and deliverables, and supervise field crews with CAD drafting output.

You must hold a Massachusetts PLS license (or be able to obtain others) and have 5–8 years of surveying experience, with proficiency in Civil 3D, MicroStation, or Trimble software.

Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in surveying, civil engineering, or related field required.
• Minimum 5–8 years of professional surveying experience.
• Massachusetts Professional Land Surveyor license required; ability to obtain out-of-state licenses.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation or Trimble Business Center.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or supervise data, charts, plots, maps and survey documents.
• Lead proposals, cost estimates, schedules and invoices.
• Review and verify survey drawings and deliverables.
• Oversee field crew and CAD drafting work to meet schedule.
