Job summary

McClure Engineering Company is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor to join our Sioux City area team. You will work with crew chiefs on diverse projects, with proficiency in Trimble and AutoCAD Civil 3D essential.

Responsibilities include preparing survey deliverables, establishing field and office procedures, and supervising data, plans, and cost estimates while coordinating with clients and internal staff. A PLS license and 5–8 years' experience are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in surveying, civil engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of professional surveying experience.
• Professional Land Surveyor license required; ability to obtain licenses for surrounding states.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and supervise survey data, charts, maps and documents.
• Establish field and office procedures for surveys and plans.
• Lead and coordinate the preparation of proposals, schedules and invoices.
• Review and verify survey drawings and deliverables; ensure adherence to standards.
• Coordinate field crew work and CAD drafting to meet schedule.
